The extra virgin olive oil of our company comes from olive orchards in the hilly areas of the prefecture, in the northern municipalities.

These hilly areas produce an olive oil with a kind of spicy taste, which differentiates it from other olive oils. In addition, because of the lower temperatures in the hilly areas and the low humidity, the olives are rarely infected by insects and thus producing a high quality olive oil. Our product is produced by the famous variety of Athinoelia. We opted for this particular olive variety since it produces an olive oil of supreme quality and also in big quantities that has a rich taste and aroma and a thick texture. Taleon olive oil comes from green and fresh olives as well as purple ripe ones, combining their unique tastes. Moreover, the hilly areas give this special characteristic in the flavor of the product.
